FAQ

Free page check, answered.

Anything else? Talk to us.

Is the page check free?

Yes. You can run it without an account or an email address.

How often can I run it?

Up to 10 checks an hour. When you reach the limit, the page tells you how long to wait.

Why are mobile and desktop scores different?

Lighthouse tests mobile on an emulated phone with a slower processor and network, so the same page usually scores lower on mobile.

Why is my score different from last time?

Each check is one Lighthouse test per device on Google’s servers. Network and server conditions change, so scores move a little between runs.

Where do the real-visitor numbers come from?

From Google’s Chrome UX Report: how Chrome users experienced the page over the last 28 days. Search Console’s Core Web Vitals report uses the same data. When Google has no data for the page, the check shows the whole site’s; when it has neither, it says so.

Does it find broken links?

No. It tests one page with Lighthouse. To check the links on one page, use the Broken Link Checker. To check every page of your site, use Site Crawler.

Is my result saved?

No. PerfBee shows it on this page and does not keep it.
