Batch Extraction for Multiple URLs
PerfBee's Critical CSS tool now supports batch extraction, enabling you to process up to 10 URLs at once. This feature is a significant time-saver for anyone managing multiple websites or pages, allowing for streamlined critical CSS generation.
How Batch Extraction Works
The batch extraction process allows you to input a list of URLs, configure specific settings, and initiate background processing. Each URL is analyzed individually, and the results are provided as they become available. This approach allows you to efficiently extract critical CSS for multiple pages at once.
Switching to Batch Mode
To use batch extraction:
- Navigate to the PerfBee Dashboard and select the Critical CSS tab.
- Locate the option to switch to Batch Mode (usually a toggle or button near the URL input field).
Pasting Multiple URLs
Once in batch mode, you can paste multiple URLs into the provided text area. Make sure each URL is on a separate line:
https://www.example.com/page1
https://www.example.com/page2
https://www.example.com/page3
Batch-Specific Settings
Batch mode offers several settings to customize the extraction process for each URL:
- Viewport Sizes: Specify custom mobile (width x height) and desktop (width x height) dimensions to target specific device screen sizes. Default values are mobile: 375x667 and desktop: 1920x1080.
- Minify: Compress the output CSS to reduce file size.
- Ignore Imports: Skip
@importrules. - Ignore Font Faces: Skip
@font-facerules.
Batch Processing
Once you've entered the URLs and configured the settings, initiate the extraction. The processing runs in the background, and you'll see the results appear per URL as they complete. You can monitor the progress on the Critical CSS tab.
Results
For each processed URL, you'll see the extracted critical CSS. The results also include a similarity score to help you identify any potential overlap or redundancy between the CSS files.
Downloading Results
Once all URLs have been processed, you can download all the extracted CSS files in a single ZIP archive. This makes it easy to integrate the critical CSS into your website's code.
Remember, batch extraction costs 1 credit per URL, the same as single extraction. Check your credit balance in the top-right of your dashboard.
