Dashboard Overview
Welcome to PerfBee! This guide provides a comprehensive overview of the PerfBee dashboard, your central hub for web performance optimization. Access the dashboard at https://dashboard.perfbee.com. Whether you're a developer, SEO professional, or marketer, the PerfBee dashboard offers powerful tools to improve your website's speed and user experience.
Navigating the Dashboard
The dashboard utilizes a tab-based navigation system, providing easy access to all PerfBee features:
- Sites: Add and manage your owned websites.
- Broken Links: Run crawler scans to identify broken links, redirect chains, and other issues.
- Performance Boost: Run Lighthouse audits and view AI-powered code fix suggestions.
- Critical CSS: Extract and monitor critical CSS for improved page rendering.
- RUM: View real user metrics collected from your visitors.
- Settings: Manage team members, notification preferences, and white-label options.
Superusers will also see an Admin tab, which provides access to user and package management, and system health monitoring.
Credit Balance
Your current credit balance is always visible in the top-right corner of the dashboard. The color of the indicator provides a quick visual cue of your remaining credits:
- Green: Plenty of credits available.
- Yellow: Less than 30% credits remaining.
- Red: Less than 10% credits remaining.
Remember that credits are consumed per operation or page scanned, and your balance resets monthly on your billing date. Refer to our documentation for detailed credit consumption rates.
Getting Started
The dashboard's home view displays recent activity and quick stats to give you an overview of your website's performance. Here's how to start your first audit or crawl:
- Add a Site: If you haven't already, go to the Sites tab and add your website to PerfBee. You'll need to verify ownership using either IP whitelisting or an HTTP header.
- Performance Boost: Navigate to the Performance Boost tab and click "Run Audit" to initiate a Lighthouse audit.
- Broken Links Crawl: Go to the Broken Links tab and click "Start Scan" to begin a crawl. You can choose different scan types (fast or detailed) depending on your needs.
