How Credits Work

PerfBee uses a credit-based system. Credits are consumed based on the operations you perform, not per scan. Your credit balance resets monthly on your billing date.

Credit Consumption Breakdown

Here's a breakdown of how credits are consumed:

• Performance Boost (Lighthouse Audit): 2 credits
• Critical CSS Extraction: 1 credit per URL
• Site Crawler:
• Fast scan (non-owned site): 1 credit/page
• Detailed scan (non-owned site): 4 credits/page
• Fast scan (owned site): 0.5 credits/page
• Detailed scan (owned site): 1 credit/page
• JS rendering (owned site): 2 credits/page
• JS rendering (non-owned site): 4 credits/page

Important Note: Using the Site Crawler on an owned site is more cost-effective. See the "Owned Site Verification" section below.

Owned vs. Non-Owned Sites

PerfBee differentiates between owned and non-owned sites for Site Crawler scans. Verifying your ownership of a site allows you to benefit from lower credit costs. To verify your site, you can choose one of two methods:

1. IP Whitelist: Allow PerfBee's server IP (********) in your firewall or Cloudflare settings.
2. HTTP Header: Configure your server to allow requests with the HTTP header X-PerfBee-Token: <unique-token>. This can be set up in Cloudflare or your Nginx configuration.

PerfBee automatically includes the X-PerfBee-Token header when crawling owned sites.

Plans and Credit Allowances

PerfBee offers several plans to suit your needs:

• Trial: 1,000 credits/month (free)
• Starter: 15,000 credits/month ($19/mo or $15/mo annual)
• Business: 50,000 credits/month ($59/mo or $47/mo annual)
• Business+: 100,000 credits/month ($119/mo or $95/mo annual)
• Enterprise: 250,000 credits/month ($299/mo or $239/mo annual)

Annual billing provides approximately a 20% discount.

Tips to Maximize Your Credits

1. Verify Your Sites: This is the most crucial step for cost savings.
2. Optimize Crawl Settings: Use "Fast Scan" for non-critical pages.
3. Monitor Usage: Keep an eye on your credit balance, which is always visible in the top-right of your dashboard.
4. Schedule Strategically: Schedule resource-intensive tasks (e.g., detailed crawls) less frequently.
