Performance History & Trends
The Performance History tab within the Performance Boost section provides a comprehensive view of your website's past performance audits. This feature is invaluable for tracking score changes over time, identifying performance regressions, and understanding the impact of your code deployments and design updates.
Accessing the Performance History
- Log in to your PerfBee dashboard: https://dashboard.perfbee.com.
- Navigate to the Performance Boost tab.
- Within the Performance Boost section, click on the Performance History tab.
Understanding the Data
The Performance History tab displays a paginated list of your past performance audits. Each entry includes the audit date, device type (desktop or mobile), and the four key scores from the Lighthouse audit: Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, and SEO. This allows you to quickly assess how your website's performance has evolved.
Filtering & Searching
You can easily find specific audit results using the search and filter functionality:
- URL Search: Enter a specific URL in the search bar to filter the history and view audits for that page only.
- Pagination: Results are paginated, showing 10 results per page. Use the pagination controls to navigate through your audit history.
Identifying Trends & Regressions
The Performance History is particularly useful for spotting trends and identifying performance regressions. By reviewing the historical data, you can:
- Track Score Changes: Monitor how your scores have improved or declined over time.
- Spot Regressions: Easily identify performance drops after code deploys or design changes. A sudden decrease in scores is a clear indicator of a potential issue.
- Analyze Impact: Correlate performance changes with specific events, such as new feature releases or content updates, to understand their impact on your website's speed and user experience.
By regularly reviewing your Performance History, you can proactively address performance issues, ensuring your website remains fast and efficient. This helps to improve user experience and maintain your search engine rankings.
